FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
1. Is your topic appropriate? Are you a non-profit organization and want to discuss your programs. Or are you involved in an event benefiting a non-profit? Then you may qualify for a free 3-minute interview on Around Town. (We no longer produce Community Matters and all accepted interviews will air on Around Town.)
2. Call 346-2551 and leave your name, the topic you wish to discuss (any dates that are pertinent), and a number you can be reached at between 10 am and 5 pm.
These interviews air Monday through Friday and you can only book one interview (one night) per month unless otherwise authorized by our producer.
We tape our interviews on Wednesdays at 12:30pm
Although the interviews look short on TV, they take longer to produce. We shoot a week's worth of interviews at a time so you will be shooting your interview at the same time as other groups. This means you will need to be available for approx. 90 min. for taping.
Also, keep in mind that there are hundreds of non-profit organizations in the region who use this service. So try to book as early as possible as certain times of year are particularly busy (i.e. November/early December, April/May, and September).
